Just moved out a month ago after 14 months. This is going to be a long but very honest one.

I moved in before they were done building and LOVED it for the first several months. They did a great job screening applicants for the first little bit and then it turned into a free for all. Multiple units with more people than allowed. It went from a nice professional feel to a super ghetto one.

The pool: Yes, it's nice. Good luck enjoying it. It seriously looks like a music video or something. There are so many people there that don't live there blaring inappropriate music not suitable for kids. The rules clearly state otherwise, but management doesn't enforce them at all. The pool is literally right outside of the office. They see what's going on and do nothing.

Security: you have a "courtesy officer" which is a complete joke. Cars and rims are being stolen, my motorcycle was almost stolen and they dont enforce gate policies. My neighbors above me would fight like they were going to kill each other both inside and outside of the apartment. Sometimes at 3am! I called the office several times and they never did anything about it. One time, they called them and then relayed to me that they denied it. Well of course they did. They don't want to get in trouble. I even recorded it once to show the extent of how bad it was. Still, nothing was done. They were so loud they'd wake up my baby all the time. If you leave a message for the security officer, you'll be lucky to hear back in a week. Just call the actual police.

Building: For all the money you pay there, you'd think it would be built better. As stated above, the noise from your neighbors comes right in. My neighbors walked heavy and busted every light bulb in that apartment. The light fixtures would just rattle until the bulb finally popped. The rooms, bedrooms and closets are spacious but not worth everything else that you have to put up with.

Maintenance: The maintenance guys are super sweet but the system isn't working. My microwave broke very soon after moving in. I let them know and made them aware that I had a bottle fed baby and needed a replacement asap. They said the warranty takes a while to get a new one. I waited a week before raising hell and they finally switched it out. Another time there was a water leak that completely flooded my hallway and went through the walls into the living room. It took them 2 days to even acknowledge me. Although they made the repairs quickly, it was very negligent to take that long to come out and stop the leak.

Parking: Sucks so bad!!! They have parking passes but again, fail to enforce them. If you get home after about 7 or 8, plan on parking 3 buildings over. This goes along with all the people staying in apartments that aren't on leases. One of my neighbors had 5 adults and 2 kids that I knew of staying there in a 2 bedroom unit. That's a lot of cars taking up space for just one unit. Not just that, but you are supposed to be screened. You're taking a community with certain standards and making it a free for all when you don't screen all of these extra people.

Bugs: Someone wrote about the roaches. It's true. They come out of the walls, space between baseboards and floor and even the drains. They are everywhere. Lots of spiders too. The pest control company they use doesn't seem to help much.

Garbage: A lot of apartments in the area (for less money) have a trash valet service. This place does not. The nearest garbage to me was 2 buildings away in either direction. They are always overflowing leaving garbage everywhere.

This complex has the rules in place to be a wonderful community but management doesn't enforce them. I would have loved to see some follow through on the lease agreement we all signed. I paid $1,475 for a bottom floor unit and garage. For that much, you deserve a comfortable place to live.
